Unwanted Woman Visits Wales To Tell Lies
Theresa May made a whistle stop tour of Wales yesterday. To be precise, she visited two locations, both of which, by coincidence, she and her team of lying blaggards have their beady eye on. She came to 'the Principality' (aka, an English sub-region) to tell us all how much she appreciates us. Aw, gee........thanks. <3
Whether or not she appreciates those of us who don't actually live in a Tory target seat, I've no idea (yes I do) but I strongly suspect that, given her reluctance to engage in any kind of meaningful Q&A, in truth she was just here to garner attention and pick up a few votes. In all honesty, she doesn't actually care at all apart from when she's walking by Dolgellau and when she wants us to put a X in a box. We shouldn't be deceived.
And the people she addressed. Who were they? A few party faithful wheeled out like obedient doggies, waving flags to order and nodding in all the right places for camera, a few imported in busses from Maidenhead, an old man here, a white man there and really, nobody much at all. This was more about spin than it was about Wales, make no mistake.
So apart from repeating her 'strong and stable' mantra, what else did she offer? Well, to be non-flowery about it, she offered SWEET FUCK ALL. There was no commitment, no manifesto, no outline for our future, just vague soundbites and that one line repeated over and over and over. Because if she says it 1000 times, we will all bloody believe it.
STRONG AND STABLE. STRONG AND STABLE. STRONG AND STABLE. STRONG AND STABLE.
I actually feel a little bit sorry for a person who is so inept, she can only speak like every day is Groundhog Day.
There was one thing that she said which did stand out for me though and it was this:
''Backing the Tories will strengthen my hand in Brexit negotiations and be a vote for a stronger Wales"
Backing the Tories will apparently strengthen her hand and be a vote for a stronger Wales. Eh, how, please?
This mystifies me. How will Wales benefit just by voting Tory? Which part of her hand will we strengthen? Is she admitting that she needs us because she feels weak? The Tories have been in government since 2010 - there has been plenty of opportunity for them to make us stronger, but it hasn't happened. Will she be she rewarding us for being good little minions then? Or is she lying because she sniffs our blood and wants to rule the world? If Wales is important to her, why isn't she already looking after it? Why, if she cares so much, is she allowing our children to starve? The woman is a dyed in the cloth liar, that's why.
To be sure, voting Conservative will not affect the Brexit negotiations. The only thing that a Tory vote will do is give her carte blanche to ride roughshod over those who oppose her brutal exit plans (assuming she actually has a plan at last). The remaining 27 countries of the EU are not going to negotiate any differently just because she and the blood-suckers have a few more MPs in the house and it would be foolish of every one of us to believe any differently. No, her hand will not be strengthened.
And then she and her forked tongue got to it. What she really wants
"Give me a mandate to lead Britain, give me a mandate to speak for Britain.Give me a mandate to deliver for Britain"
Give her a mandate. Give her a mandate?
I thought she already had that mandate. I thought, because it's what she's been telling us all along, that the mandate was granted when the referendum result came in. Mrs May has a mandate. She has a mandate to lead, to speak and to deliver for Britain because she is, unelected or otherwise, the Prime Minister. She doesn't need extra permission to maintain that mandate - it's hers.
So if it isn't a mandate that she is after, what exactly does she want?
Just this: Mrs May wants no dissenters or objectors. She is morphing into Kim Jong-Un before our very eyes. Before Easter she bemoaned the fact that the public weren't 100% behind her. Then she made a velvet toned speech (of lies) which said that the country was coming together. Oh, heck? That wasn't very effective so she found new people to blame and yesterday, she chose to point her crooked finger at any party in Wales (everybody who isn't Tory then) and accused them of making it difficult for her to be kind to us.
Without them, she lied, your lives would be full of bounteous wonder.
These people, it seems, these other political parties, make it ever-so-difficult for her to rule the world.
In the real world, we call these people 'the opposition'. In the emerging world of DicMaytor, we call them the enemy. In the dictatorship according to Mrs May, these will not be tolerated. That smile which didn't reach her eyes yesterday- it said plenty.
These are very scary times for all of us.
